The Codeweavers team was able to run the. github.CrossOver is software (based on Wine Project) that runs Microsoft Windows apps on the Mac by translating Windows APIs into their Mac equivalents. I just have set a certain shortcut to simulate a keyboard key, works well. It's VERY simple, it has a GUI, and it just WORKS. If you want to remap your keyboard keys or mouse buttons to certain keys, use "Input Remapper" by sezanzeb. Wine also now works on the latest Apple Silicon Macs and supports Rosetta for running Intel applications on M1 and M2 Macs. Along with Parallels, it is the only software that will let you play Windows titles on modern Macs with M1 chips. CrossOver will cost you $40, although you can test it out for 4 days with a trial version. Thanks to its slick interface, it’s more convenient than a WineBottler, but it is a paid product.
